Yerevan, August 27, 2025. UNICEF and CyberHUB-AM have officially launched the CyberChat platform, Armenia’s first online support and information system designed for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. The platform aims to ensure the safety of children and adolescents online, operating and providing three main areas of guidance and support: technical, legal, and psychological.
The CyberChat platform, developed with funding from the United Kingdom Government under the UK International Development, is available at chat.cyberhub.am.
The platform was created in response to the growing threats targeting children and adolescents through cyberbullying, extortion, stalking, account hacking, and other means.
CyberChat offers:
The platform is developed and adapted to the needs of not only children and adolescents, but also adults: parents, educators, or legal guardians.
Parents, teachers, psychologists, and all interested parties working with and for children can use the resources available on the platform to support children and respond appropriately to online threats.
For more information, visit chat.cyberhub.am or simply contact us via the social networks available on the platform.
The CyberChat platform operates within the framework of the CyberHUB-AM initiative, which was created by the Media Diversity Institute. CyberHUB-AM is a cybersecurity incident support team that also serves as a digital incident investigation laboratory for NGOs, human rights defenders, activists, journalists, and independent media. Now it also works on issues faced by children and adolescents.
